FICV 1937 is a vehicular combat video game released on the Noxid Series One video game console. It was developed by Double-Triple Deluxe Gaming and published by Noxid Computers. It is the first game in the popular FICV series.
Gameplay[]
It is a demolition derby permitting the use of ballistic projectiles in a manner similar to the Twisted Metal games. Players choose a vehicle and an arena (or a series of arenas in the tournament mode) to engage in battle with opposing drivers. A variety of weapons are obtainable by pick-ups scattered throughout the stage. The objective of the game is to be the last remaining player by eliminating the opposing vehicles.
At the end of each battle, the player wins a cash prize, and the money can be saved up and used to purchase upgrades for his/her vehicle.
Modes[]
- Tournament: Fight through a series of arenas to win the FICV world championship title.
- Single Battle: It's you against computer-controlled opponents in a single bout of vehicular combat in any location of your choice.
- Multiplayer: Mix it up with up to three other opponents locally or online, and show everyone who's boss!
Setting[]
The game takes place in the year 1937, where a mysterious organization, the FICV (Fédération Internationale de Combat Véhiculaire), clandestinely runs an underground vehicular combat competition in multiple venues around the world. In it, contestants would battle in armed vehicles of their choosing in a bid to win lucrative cash prizes. Only those with great driving skills, an ironclad will to fight and no fear of dying are invited into this secret world of fire, destruction, and twisted metal.

Secondary Weapons[]
- Rocket: Fires a rocket with an explosive warhead. Can be fired backwards.
- Landmine: Leaves behind an explosive package that detonates if driven over. Useful for those who try to get you from behind.
- Flamethrower: Unleash a mid-ranged stream of fiery death and damnation on your enemies!
- Oil Slick: Though this causes no damage whatsoever, it affects your opponents' handling, making it temporarily slippery. You can be affected by an enemy oil slick, too, so don't you forget it! Oil slicks can also be lit on fire with incendiary weapons.
- Smoke Bomb: Use this to temporarily blind your opponent, so that you could grab a repair power-up or wreak havoc on him/her.
Non-Offensive[]
- Repair: Grab this to repair the damage dealt on your vehicle by your enemies.
- Shield: Creates a temporary shield that makes you invincible against any attack.
