Super Smash Bros. Endless Dreams/Weapons & Items/Assist Trophies

This is the list of Assist Trophies in Super Smash Bros. Endless Dreams. Assist Trophies (アシストフィギュア Assist Figure) are a type of NPC that are summoned from the Assist Trophy. Some Assist Trophies can be attacked, potentially interrupting their attacks or otherwise manipulating how they perform and even being able to KO them (this can be seen by their ending animations coming earlier than normal, them having their own death animation, teleporting away, screen KO, & star KO). When the Assist Trophy is close to becoming KO'd, the player who summoned it can KO it to prevent other players from gaining a best point. In addition, certain Assist Trophies have the unique ability to teleport on command, such as teleporting closer to an opponent when too far away or when crossing a blast line.

• Rejected assist trophies:
  • A character from the 2015 video game Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE was going to be a downloadable assist trophy if the game had save data from the Encore "remaster" (it could have been Itsuki w/ Mirage!Chrom, Tsubasa w/ Mirage!Caeda or all the Fortuna All-Stars band). This was changed to a stage on the Idolasphere because of budget issues with re-casting any of the seiyuus for the characters, the problems that come with contacting AVEX and the poor sales of both the original and Switch releases.
• Outside of a stage from Bayonetta 3 (which was published by Nintendo), both Blanc and Katsuragi assist trophy can be considered the only Third-Party content that could be unlocked via having save data of a game on the same Switch system if Endless Dreams is already on it.
  • Katsuragi is also the only Assist in the entire history of Smash that could deal damage to the one that freed her from the capsule (this special feature happen if the one that you play is female, it also does it with boys if the character has dual-gender alts. But the attack cannot be done with selected female ATs nor non-humanoid femmes).
    • The reason why sometimes she hugs male characters is because of a glitch that was never patched in subsequent updates.
