Godzilla Universe is a 3D fighting game based on the Godzilla franchise as well as other Toho monsters and guest monsters from non-Toho franchises. It was developed by Pipeworks Software and published by Namco Bandai, as a Wii U exclusive.

Story[]

A mysterious force is causing both good and evil monsters from throughout time and space (A.K.A. Showa, Heisei, Millenium) to appear around the Earth and even some of the surrounding areas in space. The monsters, seperated into 5 classes by humans (Earth Defenders, Global Defense Force, Mutants, Aliens, Gods/Demons, excluding Guests) engage in war, slowly destroying earth in the process.

Eventually, it is revealed that the force that brought the monsters together is a powerful demon called Bagan. After defeating Bagan, all monsters return to their home times, and peace is restored to the universe.

Monsters[]

All the monsters in the game are separated into 6 classes. They are Earth Defenders, Global Defense Force (G.D.F.), Mutants, Aliens, Gods/Demons, and Guests.
